Futura Fantasy Framed canvas

In 1955, Lincoln unveiled the Futura concept — a rolling declaration that the future was going to be white, winged, and absolutely out of its mind. Bubble canopy. Tail fins that could pick up radio signals from Jupiter. A cockpit so pink it made Las Vegas look understated. Detroit didn't build this car. They dreamed it into existence.
It never went into production. Of course it didn't. The world wasn't ready. I shot it from above — because that's the only angle that does justice to those fins — and set it against a mod bullseye in deep plum and lavender. The whole thing looks like it just landed from 1975 as imagined in 1955. Which is exactly what it is.
